Chris Bohle

Chris is a second year graduate student in the master's degree program in Higher Education at Loyola University Chicago. He currently serves as a Residence Director for first-year students at Trinity Christian College in suburban Chicago.

Michael Beazley

Michael is a second–year doctoral student in the Higher Education program at Loyola University Chicago. He is the Program Coordinator for the Indonesia Secondary Education Development Program at Loyola.

Rachel Brown

Rachel is a graduate student in the master's degree program in Higher Education at Loyola University Chicago. She currently works part-time at Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions as an Exam Proctor.

Ana del Castillo

Ana is a graduate student in the master’s degree program in Higher Education at Loyola University Chicago. She currently serves as the Assistant Vice President of Enrollment Systems and Services at the American College of Education.

Diana Chavez

Diana is a second–year doctoral student in the Higher Education program at Loyola University Chicago. She is a graduate assistant for the Department of Higher Education assisting Dr. John Dugan, and Dr. Terry Williams with the Master's of Higher Education Internship Program at Loyola.

Matthew Cooney

Matt is a first year student at Loyola University Chicago in the Higher Education M.Ed. program. He works as a Graduate Residence Life Coordinator for the University Center-Chicago.

Kimberly Fath

Kimberly Fath is a doctoral student in the Higher Education Program at Loyola University Chicago. Her research interests center on cognitive development in college students. Kim currently serves as the Community College Project Manager for the Multi-Institutional Study of Leadership.

Matthew Gebhardt

Matt is a graduate student in the M.Ed. program at Loyola University Chicago in Higher Education Administration and is as a graduate assistant in Student Activities and Greek Affairs at Loyola University Chicago.

Meghan Hofert

Meghan is a graduate student in the master's degree program in Higher Education at Loyola University Chicago. She currently serves as a Graduate Assistant in the Department of Student Life.

Michelle Kusel

Michelle is a graduate student in the master's degree program in Higher Education at Loyola University Chicago.

Ellen Meents–DeCaigny

Ellen is a doctoral student in the Higher Education program at Loyola University Chicago. She currently serves as the Director of Assessment, Research and Communications for the Division of Student Affairs at DePaul University.

Alejandro Mendoza

Alejandro is a graduate student in the master's degree program in Higher Education at Loyola University Chicago. He currently serves as the Ombudsperson for the School of Legal Studies at Kaplan University.

William Rodriguez

William is a first–year doctoral student in the Higher Education program at Loyola University Chicago. He is the Associate Dean of Students and Student Ombudsperson at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Dawn Simounet

Dawn Simounet is a graduate student in the master's degree program in Higher Education at Loyola University Chicago.

Emily Wilk

Emily is a senior undergraduate student at Loyola University of Chicago studying social work and environmental leadership. She joins the team as a Provost Fellow and is also a resident assistant and intern at the Center for Experiential Learning.

MSL Co-PI Honored by NASPA

3.11.2010 NASPA announced an award named in honor of MSL's Co-PI. The Susan R. Komives Student Leadership Researcher Award will be awarded annually by the Student Leadership Programs Knowledge Community.

MSL Receives NASPA Award

3.11.2010 MSL received the 2010 Spotlight of the Year Award from the NASPA Student Leadership Programs Knowledge Community at the 2010 annual conference in Chicago.

National MSL Benchmark Dataset

3.1.2010 Starting in the 2011 data collection, the MSL will provide a National MSL Benchmark Dataset to all participating schools as part of the MSL Standard service. The purpose of this dataset will be for use by Institutional Research and other data driven researchers at MSL participating schools to conduct their own school specific analyses, including a representative subset of the MSL National Benchmark Data.

Student Leadership Research Award

1.28.2010 John P. Dugan is the first recipient of the "Student Leadership Research Award" presented by the NASPA Student Leadership Programs Knowledge Community.

ILA Board Appointment

10.13.2009 Susan R. Komives has recently been appointed to the Board of the International Leadership Association (ILA).

C. Charles Jackson Grant

9.18.2009 MSL has received a $25,000 grant from the C. Charles Jackson Foundation. The grant is designated to provide partial scholarships to support the involvement of institutions that need financial assistance to participate in the MSL 2010 study.
